Akari Candles are plant-based, vegan, and burn cleanly with minimal smoke or soot. Our Sand wax is derived from certified sustainably sourced and highly purified plant-based wax. They do not contain paraffin, soy or any known allergens.
BURN TIME
The burn time varies greatly based on how it's used. Whether you're using 1 or more wicks at a time? How long do you burn your candle before refreshing it? Whether you relight the same wick or replace it to refresh your candle? That said, AKARI burns slower than normal candles and provides up to 120 hours of burn time per 500g of sand wax, longer than most candles.

I just received my first order from Akari Candles, I am so thrilled with my purchase. I ordered the bulk pack in both Rustic Coral & Coastal White. I have several vessels I wanted to use to create these beautiful candles in. The site was extremely easy to order from, and had loads of information about the use of the product. My order arrived in excellent condition, and within the promised time frame 🙏. I found the sand wax so easy and clean to use and loved how I could fill different containers/vessels and utilize the sand wax in so many ways. I’ve used it in 3 different vessels and still have half a bag left, great value for money. I tried putting 6 drops of my peppermint essential oil around the circumference of the wick prior to lighting and the aroma was gorgeous. A much healthier and cleaner option than burning pre-scented candles, which I’m learning are not good for our health. I’ve already purchased again, this time 2 shades of green.
