Akari Candles are plant-based, vegan, and burn cleanly with minimal smoke or soot. Our Sand wax is derived from certified sustainably sourced and highly purified plant-based wax. They do not contain paraffin, soy or any known allergens. 

The burn time varies greatly based on how it's used. Whether you're using 1 or more wicks at a time? How long do you burn your candle before refreshing it? Whether you relight the same wick or replace it to refresh your candle? That said, AKARI burns slower than normal candles and provides up to 120 hours of burn time, longer than most candles.

Charcoal is a deep, dark grey colour that sits between black and darker shades of grey, while carrying a natural and grounded quality. The earthy nature of charcoal gives it a grounded, organic feel. It can be reminiscent of natural materials like burnt wood, stone and certain volcanic rock.
